Fees and Payment

The fee paid by the delegates cover only part of the Welcome Center's operational costs. The various services offerred are ensured thanks to an important voluntary investment and in kind contributions, as well as to external contributions, in particular from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the Canton and the City of Geneva. The prices are indicated in Swiss francs and are subject to changes.

  • Overnight stay + Breakfast:
    • CHF 25.- For delegates living in Least Developed Countries (LDC).
    • CHF 30.- For delegates living in other developing or in transition countries.
    • CHF 35.- For delegates living in industrialized countries.

      Note: reduced price available for long stays.

  • Room sharing: We have rooms with 2, 3 or 4 beds and an emergency dormitory.
  • Dinner: CHF 12.-
  • Communication & photocopy services: Charged at cost price.
  • Free shuttle service: We organize a free shuttle bus service from Monday to Friday between the Welcome Centre and the conference sites.
    • Schedule: from the Welcome Centre to the Place des Nations (in front to the UN) - 8:20 am & 8:50 am.
    • Schedule: from the Place des Nations (in front to the UN) to the Welcome Centre - 6:30 pm.
  • Taxi: About 30 CHF between the Airport and the Welcome Centre
  • Work infrastructure: Free of charge for the delagates staying at the Welcome Centre. For external groups, a contribution of 100 to 200 CHF par day can be requested.

We kindly ask delegates to pay their fees in Swiss francs upon arrival.
