Support Services
The Support Service faciliates the contact with other organizations in the various areas of activity. It helps, informs and supports delegates in their activities :
- Accommodation and other matters concerning the delegate's stay
- Accreditation procedures
- Information about on-going conferences
- Contacts with the international organizations and other stakeholders in the international arena (diplomatic missions, NGOs, research centres, authorities, etc.)
- Information about Geneva and Switzerland
- Visas for bordering countries
- Finding partners for projects
- Information and guidance about matters of International Public Law
Meetings and training sessions
- We arrange training sessions and meetings with representatives of the international organizations and NGOs in Geneva. In this way we enable delegates to make good use of their stay to meet experts, to broaden their knowledge and to establish new communication links.
Thematic files
- We produce thematic files and documents on issues of interest to delegates to facilitate their work and to introduce the different areas of activity in the international Geneva.
- We provide documents on issues such as the rights of the child, fair trade, arbitrary detention, on organizations active in development programmes, etc.
Internships
- We regularly receive interns who can get practical experience of the international arena
- Many of our former interns now work in international organizations, NGOs or public administrations.
